1. Health - I'm deep breathing...inhaling cool, crisp ocean air. Feeling the wind between my finger, pushing my body towards the rocks. I'm not a bird, but for a few moments I felt as light as one.

2. My dad - he's been my pappa for as long as I can remember. He never let go of my hand, he just let me grow up. He shows his love differently then this GR girl heart needs sometimes, but the love he gives is consistent:) LU PAPPA!

3. Learning that sometimes losing is part of the big picture.

Lance Mackey is my HERO today!

1. Lance Mackey....watching him pull into Nome after a 1,000 miles covered with him and his dogs. I'm a proud Alaskan and so in awe of him and his team! He's a hero today.

2. Thankful for my boss (ok, still getting used to it/not my boss anymore). Her ability to handle situations show her dedication, morals, and values and her true character. I count myself lucky to have supported her for the last 22 months!

3. Running...sweat dripping from my brow, the heart pumping, legs moving and my ears rocking out to the sound of my tunes!!! I LOVE RUNNING...Running is my sunshine:)

1. MY NEW ALARM CLOCK!!!! - It has motion-activated SNOOZE! All I have to do is wave my hand toward the clock and it snoozes! IT ROCKS. Nothing to really help this Alaskan girl get out of bed any easier, but I LOVE, LOVE waving my hand and going back to sleep for 1/2 hour!

2. Weekend bag...I love roadtrips!

3. Faith...even when you think your almost empty, you get a refill when you least expect it...:)
